Mahsuma Mansurova is a legal intern focusing on legal clinics, performing research assistance for public interest law clinics and working on the website for the Legal Capacity Development program. Mahsuma holds a law degree from Tashkent State Law Institute and an LLM in Human Rights from Central European University. In 2005-2006, Mahsuma worked as program officer for Freedom House – Uzbekistan where she was supporting law reform campaigns, teaching strategies and developing responses to harassment, arrest, and/or detention of human rights defenders and strengthening ties and services to the local community. Mahsuma previously worked for OSCE/ODIHR Limited Election Observation Mission to Uzbekistan, and she was a law fellow at ABA/ CEELI Human Rights Clinic.
