Sebastian Köhn

Sebastian Köhn works as a Program Assistant for the Equality and Citizenship program. Sebastian earned his Master’s degree in Conflict, Security and Development at King's College London, where his dissertation was on the political economy of the Algerian civil war of the 1990s. Sebastian also has a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and History from the London School of Economics. Previously, he worked as a research associate at the Center for Arab-West Understanding in Egypt, where his work covered Arab-West relations, human rights, and relations between the Egyptian government and civil society. He also assisted in the editing and designing of the Center's weekly journal – the Arab-West Report. While at university Sebastian helped organize awareness- and fund-raising campaigns at the LSE on issues such as world hunger and the HIV/AIDS epidemic, and promoted sustainable development through OIKOS International. His language skills extend to English, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish and German.
