This Section is devoted to different models and schemes of legal aid delivery, such as: public defender, staff attorney, assigned private practitioners’ model (judicare, ex officio appointed legal aid lawyers), contracts model, duty solicitors, paralegals, legal advice centers. The Section also contains materials on innovative and complementary methods and schemes for provision of legal aid, such as: legal clinics, e-delivery, pro-bono initiatives, and on holistic approach to delivery of legal aid. The materials in this section are listed starting with the general and comparative overviews and following with materials related to specific jurisdictions.
