2024 Global Human Rights Litigation Report

The Open Society Justice Initiative pursues strategic litigation globally on an array of issues critical to the mission of the Open Society Foundations. This report highlights several high profile cases, ranging from work to bring Syrian leaders to account for the use of chemical weapons, to supporting Danish public housing residents in a challenge to an ethnically-biased redevelopment regime. The report also provides a representative selection of cases that show the range of Justice Initiative work on issues including digital rights, and climate and environmental justice.
