Statement to the 13th Session of the Assembly of States Parties New York, December 2014
In a statement to the annual meeting of the body that controls the International Criminal Court, the Open Society Justice Initiative has urged the creation of performance indicators for the system of international justice established by the Rome Statute in 2000.
It argues that such a bench-marking approach should consider three broad measures affected by the actions of the court, states, and other stakeholders: the system’s reach, its depth, and its core strength.
